The Terrasses d'Adrien estate is planted with 1618 olive trees. Our aim is to perpetuate tradition and anchor ourselves in regional culture. Production is divided into two ranges, one authentic and the other subtle and symbolic of freshness.
Les Terrasses d'Adrien's "Vert Intense" extra-virgin oil is bi-varietal, produced from 80% Aglandau and 20% Picholine olives.
These varieties represent a significant percentage of French production, and are characterized by their ardency, bitterness and fervor.
The result is a highly aromatic, intensely authentic oil that has become a benchmark. Its distinctive aromas include dried fruits, artichokes and the sensation of freshly cut grass on food. It goes wonderfully well with summer salads, carpaccio or grilled meats, and will surprise you with desserts such as fruit salad.
The "Noir d'olive" virgin olive oil is a must-discover, paradoxical to the "Vert intense" as it has neither bitterness nor ardency, but harks back to the ancestral tradition of being aged and matured in attics.
Created from green olives which, after picking, are left to ferment for several days before being pressed. Our "Noir d'olive" is therefore a reference to the old-fashioned taste of Provencal tradition.
It takes us on a journey with its aromas of candied olives, cooked artichokes, cocoa zest and tapenade, and goes perfectly with white meat, fish and salads.
