Come and discover the Fourmone estate, nestled away on the lower reaches of the Dentelles de Montmirail, and the estate’s careful IPM production and concern for sustainable development. There are wine-tastings organized and also guided tours. Open all year round, Mondays through Saturdays from 9:30 to 6. Closed Sundays and holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year Eve.
"La Fourmone" comes from the Latin "Frumentum" (wheat), symbol of fertility and well-being. In the 17th century, olive trees, blackberries and cereals gradually gave way to vineyards, and the Domaine duly received its letters of nobility. Today, Alines and Marie-Thérèse Combe continue to produce their wines, ever mindful of the respect for wine grapes so near and dear to the heart of manThe Fourmone estates produce protected-origin appellation wines: Côtes du Rhône, Vacqueyras and Gigondas.The cellars organize tours and wine-tastings for groups of a maximum of 8 people, on advance booking.
