Winery open from 9am to 12midday and 2 to 5.30pm. During summer, the winery is open until 6.30pm. Closed Sundays and public holidays.
It’s worth visiting the “heights” of Durban for the landscape alone which is a total delight. Located on the plateau of a hill, overlooking Beaumes de Venise, the Domaine de Durban wine estate, backing onto a pine forest, offers an impressive panoramic view of the vineyards.This hillside vineyard, with its 40% trias/60% clay-limestone composition, enjoys a sunny aspect and a micro-climate that is instrumental in its production of award-winning wines. In this exceptional setting, the LEYDIER family carefully tend to the production of their different wines, including the famous Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, les Côtes du Rhône Villages as well as the excellent Vins de Pays du Vaucluse Blancs. The vineyards are located near numerous ruins, providing evidence of its rich historical past, and extend over some 119 hectares, including 2 hectares of Gigondas, 28 hectares of AOC Côtes du Rhône and 22 hectares of Muscat de Beaumes de Venise. Wine production takes place on the estate.
