A little history on Domaine de Nalys! For the estate was already referred to in written documents from the 17th century. Vines were cultivated here by 7 generations of the same family up until the French Revolution. It was taken over and expanded with great care and talent by Doctor Dufays until 1975. Today, Domaine de Nalys is one of the rare wine estates of approximately 50 hectares to grow all of the red and white varietals authorised by the
A.O.C Châteauneuf du Pape.
Several services are offered to discover the vineyards and learn about the wines:
Guided visit out of doors, followed by a visit of the small museum, the ageing rooms, then tasting of 3 to 5 wines.
Strolls through the heart of the vineyards, followed by a picnic in summer time.
Tour on own and see the vine plants that grow the 13 different varietals that can be used in blending Chateauneuf du Pape wines.
