Le Carré du Palais

On the Place du Palais des Papes, the Carré du Palais is Avignon's must-see venue, dedicated to Rhône Valley wines, gastronomy and wine tourism.

With its École des Vins du Rhône, its 100% Rhône Wine Bar, its impressive cellar, its exceptional lounges and terraces, and its year-round events, the Carré du Palais caters to visitors passing through Avignon, as well as to conventioneers and the regional public.

The Carré du Palais is also a place to discover the Grands Ferments theme, coffee, tea, chocolate, bread, charcuterie and cheese, with boutique workshops, demonstrations and taste workshops for enthusiasts.

NEW: Fridays in August and September from 10am to 12pm, discover Avignon, capital of the Côtes du Rhône, on a tour of the city accompanied by our sommelier. On arrival, a tasting of 3 wines will be offered at the Wine School. This workshop is also suitable for families, with a discovery of aromas and games about biodiversity in the vineyard for the little ones.
