A former sheepfold built in the drystone technique, a Mediterranean garden full of fragrance and beauty, and just steps away from the village of Gordes, ranked as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages" in France the Mas de la Beaume is an ancient dry stone sheep farm surrounded by a southern forest landscape. Olive, cypress and almond leaves mix with lavender clusters extending all along the garden’s terraced retaining walls. The interior of the house is also very “provençal” with tinted beeswax walls, bouquets of dried flowers hanging from the ceilings and old furniture of the “pays”.

The owners of this lovely guest house, Wendy and Michael have thought through every detail of the home, endowing this space with all the charm of the past and all the comfort of the present, using to perfection the talents and skills of expert workmen. Patinas, ochre hues, wrought iron, delicate Provencal boutis ... please all five senses. Gorgeous breakfasts can be enjoyed under the shade of the fig trees, or by the olive grove.
