This exhibition enables you to (re)discover a selection of works of priceless value.
Each work illustrates the passion of the members of the powerful Nani di San Trovaso family. Guided by their curiosity, stimulated by their taste for the ancient world and driven by their quest for the ideal museum, the members of the family have left the mark of their personalilty on the composition of this collection.
The exhibition also underscores the decisive role played by Esprit Requien, member of the board of the Museum Calvet, now the Calvet Foundation, and executor in the acquisition of these works which have fascinated all those who have seen them since 1841.
