In the words of the artist: “It was the first visit, the worn stones with their pictorial gleams imprinted on my brain with infinite bas-reliefs. I imagine a search for forms, a mechanical workshop, working with local materials, connected to the region, which will materialise the design and colouring of these intimate, fragmented and territorialised spaces. By following the ambulatory movement of the paths of the town, of the places and by extension its occupants, the resonance and transposition to the workshop are clear, the dimension of the memory of a territory, its destruction, recovery and construction being the heart of the residence project.”
